I'm Buddy Cash, a bass player from Philly who's been gigging since I was 12 years old. Throughout high school, I played shows around Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia before moving to Philadelphia at 19. Once in Philly, I joined bands like Sound Investment, USA, and Magpie. Eventually, I was recruited by the well-known Apollo Artists band, Prowler, and we toured the East Coast for about a year.

After Prowler, I got a phone call that took me to London to join the NWOBHM band Horsepower. We lived in SW3 and recorded for labels like EMI Capitol, RCA, and Island Records. Our producer was Chas Chandler, who also produced Hendrix. Our first show at the Golden Lion was a big deal—Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, Mitch Mitchell, and Simon Kirke and Mick Ralphs from Bad Company all showed up. The British press gave us plenty of attention, good and bad, and I still miss those gammon, eggs, and beans breakfasts.

When Horsepower ended, I returned to the States and got back into metal, playing with Dead End Kids, Killroy, and Hide Your Daughters. I even spent some time in Munich filming a video with the German band Lionheart. After Germany, I went right back into the Philly club scene with bands like Drop Dead Gorgeous and Madhouse. In 2000, I started playing with LeCompt and stayed with them until 2012. You can even see me in the documentary "COVER," about the cover-band business.

Now I live in Peoria, Arizona, and I'm still playing regularly around the Valley with Blackstone 3 and Fly Like an Eagle, a Steve Miller tribute band. Over the last twenty years or so, I've also performed with Buddy Cash Revelation, Buddy Cash Band, Beru Power Trio, Sindi Raymond Band, In The Pocket, The Retreads, Red Figurehead, Everafter, and Musician Impossible/Wingz & Jamz. I'm still out playing shows, having a good time, and making sure everyone else does too.
